Donna’s Why – The Heart Behind Lovely People Empowerment Center

Donna founded the Lovely People Empowerment Center out of a deeply personal journey. Growing up with limited access to essential life skills, she quickly realized how vital they are for living a self-sufficient, productive, and successful life. Her early challenges became the fuel for her mission—not only to uplift her own children, but to empower youth and families across communities.

With over 14 years of entrepreneurial experience and a deep passion for community upliftment, Donna established LPEC to be the community-driven organization dedicated to providing life skills workshops, youth interviews, educational resources, and inspiring opportunities that help kids and families thrive. She also recognized something deeper—a growing disconnection between youth, families, and communities. Seeing this lost connection, she felt called to create a space where healing, learning, and unity could thrive.

LPEC was birth at a pivotal moment—just as Donna discovered she had a reportedly incurable autoimmune disease. Yet even in the face of that diagnosis, her passion to serve never dimmed. In fact, it ignited an even greater determination to move forward and be a beacon of strength, purpose, and transformation.

Through LPEC, Donna hopes to be a part of the reconnection the world so desperately needs—one heart, one child, one family, and one community at a time.
